Girlguiding gives girls and young women adventure, fantastic experiences and fun – all within a supportive girl only space. We want every girl to experience what Girlguiding has to offer, and all our leaders are trained, supported and assessed to make sure young members stay safe and have a great time.

We’re here for all girls so you’re welcome, whoever you are and wherever you are from! Girlguiding is for everyone who wants to have adventures, learn, laugh and make friends for life.
Rainbows are the youngest members of Girlguiding, aged 5- 7 years old Rainbows is all about developing self-confidence, building friendships, learning new things and having fun. Girls get their hands dirty with arts and crafts, getting in touch with nature and playing games – it’s all about learning by doing. Being a Rainbow is all about having the space to try new things. Through taking part in a range of different activities with girls their own age, Rainbows develop self-confidence and make lots of new friends. Our Unit meets weekly at Ubley Parish Hall where we have the facilities of a huge hall, and a garden as well as a modern kitchen and large safe carpark. You can also follow our exploits on Facebook.
How Can Your Daughter Join The Fun
Register your daughter and get your daughter started at Rainbows.
You’ll be asked to provide your contact details and key pieces of information about your daughter, you will then be contacted by one of our friendly Leaders. Girlguiding is fully GDPR Compliant.
Give Your Time
As a parent or guardian you may be interested in supporting your daughter by joining in the fun and helping out at your local unit. There are lots of different ways you can do this. Whether it’s a one-off visit to teach the girls how to bake the perfect cupcake or a regular slot as a unit helper, the time you give will really improve the lives of girls in your area. Uniform
Rainbows wear a polo shirt, hooded jacket and trousers or shorts. These can be purchased online here.
Uniform need not be worn immediately on starting, please make sure your daughter is happy to be a Rainbow before purchasing.
